Description:The A-172 cell line was established by D.J. Giard in 1973.
Culture Medium:DMEM supplemented with 2 mM L-glutamine and 10% fetal bovine serum
Subculturing:Remove medium and rinse with 0.02% EDTA solution. Add fresh 0.025% trypsin/0.02% EDTA solution and let the culture sit 37°C until the cells detach. Add fresh medium, centrifuge, resuspend in fresh medium and dispense into new flasks.
Split Ratio:A ratio of 1:3 to 1:8 is recommended
Fluid Renewal:every 2 to 3 days
Freeze Medium:CM-1 (CLS ∙ Cell Lines Service)
