Description:The HGC-27 cell line was established by culture of the metastatic lymph node from a gastric cancer patient diagnosed histological as undifferentiated carcinoma.
Culture Medium:Iscove's modified Dulbecco's medium supplemented with 2 mM L-glutamin and 20% fetal bovine serum.
Altenatively, DMEM:F12 supplemented with 2 mM L-glutamin and 10% fetal bovine serum can be used.
Subculturing:split confluent cultures 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10 000 cells cm2 using trypsin/EDTA
Fluid Renewal:every 2 to 3 days
