Description:This cell line was established from a metastatic lesion of human prostatic adenocarcinoma.
Culture Medium:Minimum Essential medium (Eagle) supplemented with 2 mM L-glutamine, 1% NEAA, 1 mM sodium pyruvate and 10% fetal bovine serum.
Subculturing:Remove medium and rinse the monolayer with 0.02% EDTA/PBS. Add fresh 0.025% trypsin/0.02% EDTA/PBS solution and incubate until the cells detach. Add complete medium, remove trypsin by centrifugation and dispense into new flasks.
Split Ratio:A ratio of 1:3 to 1:6 is recommended
